The 3rd SEA4SHORE Partner Meeting took place on 20-21 February 2025, in Barcelona, Spain! Funded by Erasmus+, this initiative is dedicated to supporting seafarers in transitioning to shore-based careers.
Key Highlights:
– Reviewed the Competency Map featuring 120 alternative shore-based career pathways.
– Explored how maritime skills can be transferred to sectors like logistics, renewable energy, and port management.
– Engaged with industry experts and training institutions to discuss job market trends and skill gaps.
– Planned the next steps for the digital career guidance tool to assist seafarers.
