On April 16, 2025, the Career Day at the Faculty of maritime studies in Rijeka, Croatia, brought together students, professionals, and the experts from the maritime industry for a day of networking and exploring future career paths. Information about the SEA4SHORE project was made available to attendees at the designated promotional stand.
SEA4SHORE is an international project aimed at supporting seafarers and maritime students by developing an online tool that will help them explore and assess career opportunities on shore. With many in the maritime field considering future transitions to land-based roles, the tool is designed to offer guidance and support through that process.
Throughout the day, a number of interested visitors stopped by the stand to learn more. The project team answered questions and explained the purpose and goals of SEA4SHORE.
